Technical Implementation

Our comprehensive industrial IoT solution consisted of several integrated components:

  1. Sensor Network: We deployed over 500 industrial-grade sensors across 3 manufacturing facilities, each equipped with multiple sensing capabilities and ruggedized for industrial environments. These sensors communicate via a mesh network protocol designed for reliability in interference-prone settings.
  2. Edge Computing Layer: Each facility was equipped with edge computing gateways that collect, filter, and process data locally. This approach ensures critical monitoring continues even during network outages and reduces cloud bandwidth requirements.
  3. Cloud Platform: We implemented a Microsoft Azure IoT-based cloud platform for data storage, advanced analytics, and machine learning. The platform scales automatically to handle varying data volumes and provides secure API access for integration with other business systems.
  4. Predictive Maintenance System: Custom machine learning models were developed to analyze equipment performance data and identify patterns that indicate potential failures. These models continuously improve their accuracy through feedback loops.
